Why I love my RCA Home Theater System

RCA is a famous consumer electronics brand in USA and this house-hold name has been around since 1920. RCA specializes on audio and video products for both casual use and professional applications. This brand has a leg in almost every AV products you can imagine. The well-known red, white and yellow connector is not called RCA cable for nothing.

Recently, one of the most popular products in RCA's arsenal is the "RCA Home Theater System" category. I have the honor to owe one at home and I am absolutely delighted by it and happy to support a home grown product.

Let me talk about about RCA home theater system.

Here you have wide range of choices if you are shopping for one. A home theater system comprises of a HD flat panel television, audio-video amplifier, DVD/BlueRay player, universal remote and surround speaker system.

Nowadays, the norm for television is of course plasma, LCD or LED televisions. For a pleasant home theater experience, I would recommend at least a 42" flat panel TV to be hung elegantly at your living room wall.

For the surround sound system, you have a choice of 2.1, 5.1 to 7.1 surround sound speakers. The most important compoent, the AV amplifiers, have to be matched rightly to the power and impedance level of the speaker system. But do not worry, nowadays they all come in a package hence you do not have to spend time matching up, unless you are really a audio-videophile who is very particular about the quality of the senses.

An RCA home theater system is also energy efficient, making it better for the environment than ever before. Nowadays, all models were compliant with Energy Star regulators, and were even equipped with a Dynamic Room Light Sensor which is able to detect any ambient light in the room (such as sunlight coming in through a window or a lamp in the room being on) and automatically adjust the brightness of the screen accordingly.

I like RCA home theater systems because it is not very expensive and is a trusted brand here in America. The overall quality is catered for American audience unlike the Korean or Japanese sets which have more fanciful but redundant features.

It's no wonder RCA is one of the top brands in North America today.
